I purchased a brass single hole steam wand tip for my La Pavoni Europiccola from Orphan Espresso. I've tried to tighten the thing has best I can but when I turn the steam on there is tiny bubbling coming from where the new tip screws onto the wand. I haven't resorted to vice grips yet but have used pliers with cloth around the tip. I don't want to distort the shape of the tip. What about teflon tape? Could that help and withstand the heat?
