Subject: Faema E61?

Hello,

I have recently come by a 2 group vintage Faema dated 1962.  Not quite sure the model, as the original logo plate is missing.  In fact there are several things missing, including the hot water wand, portafilter baskets, and a few small parts.  It has original gas and electric lever pull.  I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for parts and just any information on the machine.  I want to get started in restoration, but some of the parts are hard to find.

Hi There, welcome to coffeegeek. It's hard to tell what machine you have found, it could be an E61 (has separate pump and motor) or a 2 group Urania or president (no pump - water is forced thru coffee by lever/spring) Send me an e-mail (under my profile) with a photo, and i should be able to help with parts suppliers.

Pictures would help, does it have levers on top or just small one to the side of the groupheads wear the portafilters go?

No worries, I found out thanks to kitt2000.  I already have the machine in pieces, slowly cleaning up the grime.   I am having problems finding some parts, like the big logo panel for the back of the machine, and the lights that go behind...
