After 10 years of nearly daily use, my LP Millennium needed some TLC. Despite my best efforts in drying the base after every use and not leaving the drip tray in, the base had started to rust a couple of years ago. I sanded and repainted it but the paint eventually started flaking again. So a new base, a great powder coat job and some chrome polish (and a 3rd set of new gaskets) and... sono nell'amore di nuovo! When I follow my tried and true routine the shots are fantastic... delizioso! Looking forward to the next 10 years...

Doug, welcome to CG. There are many lever heads here, perhaps not quite as many as at HB, but we're passionate. I love pump machines as well, but a lever suits my massive ego. LOL That is a fine looking La Pavoni. As it is 10 years old, is it the 49mm, or 51mm PF? I had the 51mm model. Made very nice shots. Enjoy!

Here's my LP lever, euro voltage config. I have a step up transformer to bring it up to the 220 euro volts. I use it often. It is a beauty and I have had it for about 4 years now. I purchased it from a fellow CGer.

I think it's a 51mm. The group is larger and less angular than the 49mm group that is ever so familiar. Although I prefer the proportions of the 49mm, it's neat that the puffy 51mm group actually looks a lot like the old screw in group, so there is a precedent for the design.
