So, after really wanting a La Pavoni lever machine and looking around for about a year I decided that eBay would be the way to go. With the the thought that restoring one would be a cool project I started bidding and after a few losses I found one that was working and complete. I did win it and when it got here I stated looking for parts and making plans, I contact Thomas Cara Ltd. in San Francisco ( the machine was bought there ) and he let me know the the machine I have is too old for even him to get parts or even gaskets. So, I contacted the seller and haven't heard back, so if I am stuck with this thing does anyone know of a place or a way to get gaskets so it at least useable? It's the One with the minimo Maximo switch and it looks to be produced 1964-1967. Thanks for any help.

Is it the euro voltage configuration? Do you have a picture you can post?

It is the US configuration but could of possibly been changed. Here is a link to one just like it. For some reason it won't let me post a pic. Thanks for any help....

The plug shown on the pavoni in the picture is euro voltage config. It will not fit a U.S 110 volt outlet. If your pavoni is indeed the same it will need a step up transformer to operate.

OK thats good. Its comes up to full heat? I ask because some people just change the plug and find that they are getting 1/2 the voltage required to the machine and that the machine takes forever to heat up, and then it is terribly lacking.

It seems to, what should the parameters for it be? I havent messed with is much, I was hoping to return it but it sounds like I'll be stuck with it. It steams in about 5-8 min.

The steaming time appears right. I have the euro config with a step up transformer and mine steams in about that time. You may very well have a correct U.S. config pavoni.
