Hi everyone,
I just got a new Elektra MCAL, and I noticed that there is some liquid droplets inside the sight glass, straight out of the box. Does anyone know what it is, or what this might indicate? Is this normal for a new machine?

It's normal to find water droplets and or coffee grounds with a new MCAL. The factory tests the machines before they send them out to vendors. It happened to me too. Nothing to worry about.

I am having an issue with the sight glass as well. It always shows it full. Even when it is empty. Is there a trick to get the water out of the sight glass or do you think there is a clog or something?

Thinking this is an unusual situation. Just guessing on a possible cause. Older machine with built up scale? Chunk may have broken loose clotting up the lower opening to the sight glass. Maybe other minerals or during descaling ended up plugging the channel.
