I had my La Pavoni Professional serviced professionally nine months ago ($165) however seals have been erupting since to the point that it's no longer safe. Arguments with the shop have been futile and to be honest, if they couldn't do it properly the first time, they're unlikely to be able to fix a problem on their second attempt.
I have decided to do a seal-change myself.
The terrible photocopy that came with the seals helps me little.
I would like to know how to remove the sight glass. I just can't get it to budge from the seals.
The safety valve leaks but I can't get a tool into the cylinder to hold the retaining nut in place.
I can't work out whether I'm missing a washer in the steam wand's valve.
Can anyone recommend a reasonable pictorial guide? Youtube seems to be hopeless with too many videos of how to make coffee and not enough technical stuff.

Hi, here's a link to a site with lots of helpful links, check out the 'news' and 'links' section, under the Pavoni section. For the safety valve, i always use a small spark plug socket from my socket set.
