That is INCORRECT, and will lead to channeling.
The correct size is EXACTLY 49.4mm, as my Penney tamper clearly states. It fits BOTH Cremina and Elektra MCAL double shot baskets.
It also fits perfectly in the MCAL single (which I MUCH prefer) but is a wee bit tight in the Olympia singer.
