Notes:
-Cadmium-coated steel piston springs were replaced with stainless units, to prevent rust particles from causing abrasive wear to the pistons, seals and liners.
-Single-throw switch was replaced with double-throw switch to provide a heat-off autofill for initial filling.
-Additional steam knob shims were added to provide 1/8 turn freeplay before wand activation, to reduce wear. Stainless washers and cotter pin were used.
-Do not flip and re-use black rubber bibb seals used in the steam valve flutes and expansion valve. Use the red silicone seals as a replacement.
-Check valves can be rebuilt using the green nylon check inserts available from Ascaso or LF. Note correct orientation during assembly and final installation.
-Lubricate the piston seals with a light coating of Molykote 111 on a quarterly basis by removing the four allen bolts and lifting the group out, to prevent early piston seal failure.
-Arduino boilers are a HX design with no injector. This means that pre-infusion pressure is the same as mains water pressure, and can be fine-tuned to your preference by utilizing a line pressure control device in the water inlet.

Nice looking machine. How long did that take you to do?

Turnaround time would have been around two weeks but between road service calls, other responsibilities and parts delays, turnaround took just over one month. Thanks
