I just ordered an Auber PID.  I'll post up with impressions when I get and install it.

If you ever have any questions on operating it, call the owner of Auber.  He is very knowledgable and helpful.

Good to know.  That's why I spent a little extra and bought the kit.  They pre-programmed the PID from the sounds of it.  And I figure with that type of equipment they are quite experienced.

Just installed PIDSILVIA. looked at Auber as well, but no one here has posted a report on the PIDSILVIA guy EREZ. so i thought i would provide some insight. the kit i choose was the cut in kit. it came together very nice, but if you are not technically inclined this kit may give you a hard time. the PID, looks to be the same size as Auber, has Autotune, and in it are some parameters he has preset. it is recommended to run autotune after install. there is no countdown clock, or pre infuse. manual controls still function the same as they would without it. controls temp within the 1 degree range. I wouldn't call it a simple install, though he has a plug and play kit. for the $120 i saved, i was able to get my friend one as well. Im sure the auber has more features and can do more, but i do think Erez is right, the Auber is simply a overkill in tech and price for the silvia. He seems very experienced in this field of technology and is very quick and willing to help and reply back. After paying 640$ for the machine and $330 on a grinder, i had no desire to spend any more. I did, but it could have cost twice as much. so, for those in wonder, the system works great and he's not a fly by night guy, i think he does do this as a side job however.
