Yes I bought some 1/4" clamps for the steam tube attachment directly to the boiler and steam wand. The Delonghi ones are a real pain. Only cost $3. The Teflon tape isn't a must. I have torn mine down a few times so the plastic piece that the steam wand fits in is a bit loose. For the Mod you just need the steam wand the clamps and teflon tape if needed.
