My machine is leaking perhaps 2 tsp of hot water into and also a little behind the drawer that the used capsules drop into. Is this a repair that an amateur can do or do I have to find a place that services them ... and if so, does anyone know one in the Washington DC area? Grazie! Ruth

If you can take a look inside the machine, find the cause and do an easy repair like changing or refastening a hose, you should give it a try. However, I would not take it to a repair shop, because the cost will most certainly exceed the value of the machine. In case you can't do it yourself it's time to replace the machine.

Totally agree, If you go to the repair shop, it will cost you a lot. If you can't do it yourself, try to ask someone nearby the coffe bussiness for help. That's my best advice.
