Long time lurker here who has learned a ton over the last year as I have started getting into espresso. I'm currently looking for a vintage La Pavoni to restore over the winter and I'm wondering what you guys think would be an acceptable price to pay for the machine pictured below. Based on the pic I believe it is from the early 1970s, and the seller has said it is completely functional.
Just hoping to make a fun project from it and not get ripped off from the seller. Hopefully the restoration experts can chime in. Thanks in advance!
You would need a step up transformer that converts 110v to 220v. Given that this machine pulls about 800-1000w (can't remember exactly) you would want a transformer capable of handling at least 2000w, but going a bit bigger might be better.
