I'm assuming what you are talking about is a GFIC outlet like we have in the US. If so, it isn't looking good. Is water coming from the boiler cloudy? I'm guessing that the heating element is on the way out.
A test which you can do is unplug the machine, turn it on then measure the resistance from the ground pin of the plug to the blade pins. Anything less than several hundred meg-ohms is cause for concern.
If that test fails open the machine and with it still unplugged remove the heater leads from the boiler. Measure the resistance from the terminals to the boiler case. If it is less than several hundred meg-ohms it is time for a new heater. Hopefully the heater can be replaced without replacing half of the boiler as on a Silvia.
Anyone care to take a gues what might be causing this and if there is a fix? Thanks
