If anyone is seeing signs of rust under the drip tray I have found that a bit of emery cloth or low grit sand paper will remove the rust easily. Be sure to make sure you have sanded away all rust. Tremclad (semi-gloss) black rust paint is an exact match to the Rancilio's frame paint color. If you want a smooth finish add extra coats and use 1000+ grit wet sand paper.
