AndyPanda talked about the vib pump on his thread and seemed to think that it was ok to use the dimmer. Yes, you can vary the pressure with the steam wand, but reproducibly??? There are some threads on pressure profiling and various techniques are tried. I have not done any of this except to set the OPV.

I am ok with it not being uniformly repeatable. Especially when talking about manual pressure profiling. Unless it's electronically automated it will never be uniform. I think for now I will try just cracking the steam valve open for 3-5sec to slow the puck saturation at the start and end of the shot and see where things are.
