Dear all, congratulations for your (and mine from today) beautiful discussion forum. I am currently trying to refurbish an 70's quickmill mod. 0650 espresso machine. I have problems with a leaking valve ( I do not know the exact name) the one which connect the pump to the brewing head and the recirculating vent. This valve is operated mechanically by a lever commanded by the main switch. In more recent model i see that this has been updated with a electromagnetically valve. If i had a wiring and hydraulic diagram my efforts could me more productive... :-) anybody of you (who I see are very very informed and expert) has any to share with me ? By the way, if anybody knows were to find a similar valve would be welcomed. Thanks in advance, Stefano Verona, Italy
I had a later machine which I recently sold. I believe you are referring to the switch that controls the output of the pump. In the picture it looks like it's a mechanical switch.
YES! It is indeed the same machine as mine. (The color is also the same...) and the valve is the one I was referring to. Thanks for the link. I will try to googletranslate from german
