Hi CG'ers. I've had a modd'ed Silvia for years (first gen Silvia, for that matter). This year I've replaced the pump and, after a lot of troubleshooting, had to replace the solenoid. (Both are easy to replace) Question to the forum: how long or about how many shots did you go through until you also had to replace the solenoid?

11 years old and I've never replaced either. The solenoid was sticking at one point but descaler took care of that. I have replaced the boiler, steam wand (damaged the original when replacing o-rings), several plastic terminal protectors and OPV (old one was fine but didn't fit the new boiler IIRC) as well as maintenance items.
