I recently purchased one for very cheap. Everything works on it. It makes noises but passes water well. Holds temperature well it seems. I would like to take it all apart and clean it, but I can't find schematics(which im bad at reading) and I can't find very much info on this, besides that they are good machines. I might take lots of photos and be adventurous, but i've never done anything like this before.
Is there any test I should run it thru or any parts I should check first to see how they are running?
I need a portafilter and want to replace the steam wand. Are rancilio parts universal? What parts should I order?
I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but I'd love to get this machine running to the best of its ability. If there was a local service tech in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area that I new of I might consult them for they're services, but Its hard to look them up.
