I have a problem with my autofill on my gaggia te manual machine the autofill turns on fine when its supposed to but as the water starts to slosh about and hit the probe the autofill cuts in and out until im assuming the water is steady over the probe then it cuts out as it should. Is there anything i can do to adjust the sensitivity? I opened up the gicar autofill box and found a little thing with something i could change with a screwdriver (looked like a variable resistor) So i changed that to both extremes and it made no difference. Any ideas people?

The autofill box is defective and will have to be replaced. It is cutting out rhythmically which it will do even if you disconnect the wire from the probe. New boxes will run you $100 to $200 depending how many levels of markup you go through. If you look at the contacts on the relay inside you will likely find them burned.
