There should be a 2 page instruction sheet with the PID.

As to how to install it in you particular machine, that is under the heading of customer support.

Auber has done a lot of work on installing PID units into coffee machines. That is why their kits cost more than parts off the internet, they have taken the time to research the machines, design kits to make the installation easy and they supply all the parts in the kits that you will need for installation.

Stand alone parts are for those who understand what they are doing.

In short, the PID replaces the click thermostat so you will need to attach the thermocouple to the boiler in some way then look at the brewing circuit see how the old circuit was designed and modify the circuit to use the PID in place of the click thermostat and have the PID activate the SSR to turn the heater on and off.

Thanks for your reply.  I do not have instructions. Can only find instructions (abbreviated) for Silvia.  Need them for Audrey.

Do you have any soldering/electrical/etc experience? I don't think specific instructions are necessary as most machines use a similar concept as the other reply stated (additionally, isn't this machine basically a silvia with a different body?). If you can't figure out how to convert the instructions, I wouldn't risk digging in your machine and breaking it.

Like stated, unless there is a kit available, you will probably not find instructions.

More specifically, what do you need.  The REX manual is here

http://www.mpja.com/download/rex-c100.pdf

If you want to add steam and have the Rex with alarm, then a second SSR or Skene method a few posts into page 1

http://coffeegeek.com/forums/espresso/machinemods/571792

Are you wanting to know the wiring and attachments to the machine, or PID, or both?  Try this search in google

https://www.google.com/#q=auber+silvia+pid+instructions

There are a couple of useful instruction sets there including Auber.

Wayne's thread

http://coffeegeek.com/forums/espresso/machinemods/559841

Make up these or similar depending on your wants

Happy to help with specifics and have a lot of saved "favorites" for Gaggia and Silvia.  Think boiler and electrical components, not the housing and machine label.  Audrey looks a lot like Silvia for wiring and PID, but where to place SSR?   :)

You don't need second SSR  or additional power supply to have steam control on REX PID.
Just remove relays and install 4 jumpers and 2 diodes:
"Gaggia Coffee mods resulting in temperature drop < 2 deg C"
