I just read this thread and figured out how to adjust the boiler pressure on my Andreja Premium. It also talked about adjusting the brew pressure, but I didn't see any instructions for that. Can any one fill me in?

P S From what I've read it seems most of the Andreja Premiums are set to 11.5 at Chris's Cofffee when most people here seem to prefer 9.5 more or less. Any thoughts on why? Maybe it's so I can have an excuse to open the machine and twiddle.
P P S If the adjustment requires removing the case, please tell me were all the screws are. I can see four under the top tray, but I read where theri are ten.

Never mind, I got it adjusted. I put a call into Chris', got put through to service, and got a complete run down on what I needed to do along with an emailed picture.
I'm usually pretty good at figuring how to take things apart. The Andreja was less than obvious. Unplug the machine and then:
Take off the top cover and remove the tank
Remove the two screws that were under the front of the cover
Remove the two screws facing you on the inside of the back cover
Turn the machine around and pull out the top part of the back. It will pop out at the bottom. You have to pull pretty hard. I chickened out on this one and undid the bolts from the inside.
Remove the two inside screws facing you on the back of the machine
The inner cover will now lift out.
I was told to turn the nut clockwise a full turn and test the pressure. That's clockwise as you look at the nut from above. You want to unscew the nut a full turn. In my case I turned about a turn and a half to go from 11.5 to 9.25.

To prevent a deluge of requests, Chris e-mailed me the same instructions and asked me to post them.
IMPORTANT: Unplug the machine first! Unplug the machine first! Unplug the machine first!
Remove the top cover and take out the two screws indicated in image #1.
Remove the water and take out the two screws that hold the back panel indicated in image #2.
Remove the drip tray and take out the two counter sunk screws on either side indicated in image #3 (screw on right side is not shown).
Pop the back panel off as shown in image #4. The bottom is not screwed on; it pops off and on.
After the back panel is off (image #5), take out the two screws indicated in image #6.
You now have all the screws out and are ready to remove the shell in one piece. This part is a little tricky, it’s almost like you need another hand. Take hold of the shell at the top and the bottom on the opposite side and spread the side panels apart and slip it up and over the machine. Be careful not to spread it too much or you will dent the top of the machine where the rail is attached. You might want to loosen the allen screws a little that hold the rail on before attempting to take the shell off. Only loosen them slightly to make it easier to spread the shell and not dent the top. See image #7.

I'd also like to know why I should turn down my pressure.....I too adjusted it to 9.5 bar but did not appear to get a better quality drink out of the machine.....any input on what the "ideal" settings should be would be great. I understand the answer is probably, "it depends."

Changing the expansion valve setpoint doesn't necessarily change the brew pressure, only the maximum brew pressure, so indeed your shots may be unchanged after an adjustment. See "Re: Andreja Premium Brew Pressure Gauge" has a fuller explanation. As for an "ideal" setting, most of the ristretto-loving crowd prefer a maximum brew pressure between 8.2 and 9.5 bar. The expansion valve may well not open while pulling a true double, so a precise setting isn't as critical.
