My Brewtus arrived in style today

I just happened to be down at the dock sorting some parts and saw the arrival of my Brewtus

• FedEx ground van pulls up to our shipping dock 20’ short of the doors in the pouring rain; why...I have no idea.
• Back door rolls up….ONE package sitting in the middle of the cargo area, a large box.
• Driver ROLLS the box out the back of the truck onto the step bumper…ROLLS the box off the step bumper onto the ground (remember, rain)
• Driver walks into the building, looks for a cart...no good, returns to box and drags it into the high bay for receipt.
• Driver rolls box around looking for missing shipping label, finds it but it won’t scan because half the label was left on the ground from the truck along with a trail of plastic peanuts.
• We receive…driver disappears.

Notice I said ROLL; that is because the outer box had assumed the shape of a sphere and felt like a piece of fine Egyptian cotton when I went to open it.

I just wish I had a video camera and a picture of my face…I was just slack-jawed through the entire event.

Todd from WLL,
Thank goodness you packed well! The inner box was fairly well untouched other than some dented corners and all appears OK so far.

Abe/Eric/Ken,

Nice machine! The housing appears to be more armor plate than cover.

I am looking forward to taking a peek inside tomorrow!

Will post data when I get it wired up.

Yeah!  I can't wait to hear what you do with it (besides make espresso of course!)

Sean, man., after seeing that happen I would have had the driver wait right there while you opened your package & inspected it for damage on the spot!

You might of had to complete a damage report right there, in front of him & NO WAY!! he would be getting off scott free. {:-/

Welcome to the club ...
Will thrilling adventures in temperature stability probably be showing up here Sean, or in some other thread?
