Indeed the Mini E shoots the grinds slightly toward you. But it is slight compared to the sideways throw of the doser. And, you can place your PF in the right place to catch AlL of the grinds anyway so it doesn't matter really. I suspect that that directional throw is because of the stupid finger/static guard inside the funnel on the mini-E. I am going to take that off soon and see if that is the cause.
