Yes, I know. I just wanted to try this out for the hell of it as well as to compare the results with my usual shots.
I knew what to expect and my verdict is that pods are a definite no no.
The pod shots have a clearly flatter taste, bitterness in them, a weaker and whitish crema etc. I have no pod adaptor kit to the Andreja Premium (and I do not know if one is available), I just used a pod filter basket to replace a single basket (I always use a double basket btw).
More detailed commentary on my blog in case you want to read the horror story ;-)

Exactly my experience on the Brewtus! Yuck!
To compare, I took some pods into a local pastry shop where they use an expensive, dedicated pod machine. There, the shots are decent, with good body and good crema. However, the complexity of flavors and aromas from a great shot just aren't there. Certainly better than my local *$s!

dittto on the Pods! I used pods in a Saeco Classico with pod adapter for 5 years. It had a preasurized PF and pod adapted stuff so the result was decent. When I tried a pod 9as a backup) on my Bricoletta (with just a pod basket-no adapter) it was black water with a thing very light coloured crema on top. Bland and dissapointing.
Pods in pod machines with presurized PFs can be ok in my opinion. Better than the product from 17 year old "baristas" at *$s but still not good.
Coffee, I must have coffee, And if anyone wants to give me a treat, Ah!, just give me some coffee!
