I have seen many pictures of latte art both on this site and others on the net. Can anyone provide advise on how to create various designs with Latte Art. I understand that they are poured but don't know exactly how to create them. Any step by step instructions and tips would be appreciated.

Here are a couple of links to videos, posted by the head coffeegeek himself, Caffe Artigiano  & Sammy Piccolo...thanks Mark, that I think are probably the most helpful videos of latte art online. They definitely give you a good idea of the whole pouring technique, but to be able to pour good latte art, one must also have a great shot of espresso with good crema, and the perfect microfroth.

Whats really bad for me is that some of you guys can see this for real and have the opportunity to go to these really good coffee houses and be inspired!

Over here in Scotland we don't have these. The best it gets is Costa Coffee.

My wife is also getting suspicious of me watching videos of milk frothing on a Friday night. I have to passify her with regular cappuchino's...

You should take a weekend in Oslo! No shortage of places to see latte art here.
