For those with the grinder:

I revised the scale for grind adjustment, on a suggestion from Andy, to run from 0 to 10 with 10 subdivisions per number, so the whole scale is one rotation of the collar -- similar to the Mazzer setup. The files for printing it out are on:

Here's a scale I made, reverse-printed on the inside surface of some clear film.

I know that some Coffeegeeks have ordered the Versalab grinder and I assume that they have just received them. I am very interested in hearing first impressions? And how about some pics, too?

This evening I figured out why they named it Versalab. It is one versatile grinder! Check the pic. The sweetest extraction I've ever experienced!

Well whats 980.00?  (Heres hoping it gets a little cheaper as time goes by).

<snip>

Of course if they could get it in the 450.00 range I'd be thinking of reloading a zero balance card today <g>.

Well ... seems to have gone up to $1250, so I wouldn't hold my breath.  Could it be that Versalab has limited capacity and the publicity generated here, on a.c and hb has been enough to boost sales to the point that they can increase the price?

Great looking piece of hardware, though.

Cheers,

Luca

My taste comparison for cups, cappas and shots between the M3 and mini is up. I couldn't post it here, since there's no provision for posting tables
