Subject: Brewtus Mod Question

Does anyone know the dimensions of the reservoir tank in the Brewtus?  I'm wondering if the Brewtus could be retro-fitted with a rotary pump in the voice where the pourover tank would go and then plumbed in of course.    Thoughts?

Singforsupper,

The reservior area on the Brewtus measures:  8.25 in deep, 3.25 in wide, 11 in tall.

This is the Brewtus II.

Hope this helps,
- Fred

Figures that "sing for supper" would pose such an intriguing question.  :-)

Hey Gerald, this summer we should have an upstate NY espresso fest. (I'm in Rochester.)

That's mighty cool!   I am not capable of doing that myself without detailed intructions.  I can drill and such, but I cannot figure out how to mod the electrics and water connections.  Is there a mod kit that they mention?

I believe that Todd Salzman at WLL was rumoured to be coming up with a kit to do this very conversion.
I do not know how far this has progressed, maybe it would be worth giving him a call.

Cheers

If we get our new house and have enough to put in a kitchen, we will absolutely have a WNY espresso fest.
