Howdy all! Havent been posting for a long time, but this should be worth it. I am currently tearing my Brasilia Century Cappuccino apart for de-scale and de-gunk, and have a few pictures. (Click for larger image)

Ok, here is the boiler in the sink, along with the heating element, various potrafilter parts, and a bunch of scale. Most of the scale is in the drain, but you can see it. The amount was nowhere as bad as I thought it would be. The bright copper patch of the boiler is where it touches the group -- the boiler heats the head by convection to keep it hot. That's it for a while, I am putting it back together right now. (Sunday Morning) (Click for larger image)

Actually, there isn't a speck of rust on it anywhere. That's just coffee/milk/whatever gunk. As for the boiler, it's copper and bronze, so rust really isn't a problem.
I would like to have it back together today, but the shell might not be done, it's getting painted.

SO here are some after pics - if it were any more re-asembled, you wouldn't be able to see much. Oh, and I did lie about the rust -- there is some, namely the bit on the big clamp that holds the boiler. But that's it! (Click for larger image)
