Mine is definitely damaged by rust, the piston, the spring and the tube.... prob. cheap Korean or Italian stainless steel... it says Swiss...it does not work like a clock! rusty and leaking in the pipeshaft...
I will put it back, se if the leak has stoped and put it on the To-order list....

Greetings!
I'm working on a Brasilia Century as well and was hoping you could impart some of your vast knowledge :-) I have two problems that I'm kind of stumped on: I don't have any water coming through the Group head. I've checked all the tubing leading to the group and it is free of scale. I've pulled apart the valve guide attached to the group head and cleaned it out though there really wasn't much in there. The boiler is heating fine, plenty of pressure/steam. The group is very hot to the touch.
Secondly, I have two of the draw buttons that suddenly stopped working. I've heard that these are programmable, but I'm not sure how to program them as I am short the manual.
I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on these issues and thanks in advance,
