Subject: Help needed - Proud new owner of a Rancilio Silva needs your help

I just bought my Rancilio Silva and I would like to use it ASAP, but I am confused by the two (!) rubber water delivery tubes that go into the water tank. The instruction manual only shows one tube coming into the tank, so I am wondering if it is "normal" to have two tubes (why would you need 2??), and if it is normal, do the ends of both tubes need to be at the bottom of the tank? (one tube is a bit shorter than the other).
Somebody please help (hurry!!) as I don't dare using the machine before clarification.

It's supposed to be like that. Just put some filtered water in and start learning the important stuff. Don't worry.

Long tube draws water from reservoir.  It needs to be near the bottom (wedge it in the little star-looking thing in the corner).

Short tube is the return line from the OPV.  It needs to be in the reservoir, but does not need to reach the bottom.

Have fun!
