Subject: Leaking Pressurized Portafilter on Starbucks Barista

Hey all,

The last few times that I brewed using my pressurized portafilter, some espresso came out of the 3 screw holes on the underside of the portafilter.  I also tamped with about 30 pounds of pressure.  Could the 'backflow' be caused by too much pressure built up in the pressurized portafilter?  Now that I think about it, I haven't tapmped with the PPF in the past, so perhaps that IS the cause.....

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Matt!
