Hello Coffee-Geeks!

First of all: Nice greetings from Austria / Europe! Thanks a lot for this great page - I read it every morning when I sip my Espresso from my ECM Boticelli II.

This brings me up to my question:

Is this machine also sold in USA/Canada? I miss it in your reviews  -although I find ECM's of the "upper class" often.

If it's not sold there it wouldn't make sense if I give it a detailed review, if it's sold there (and if anybody is interested in it) I would give a review..

The Boticelli 1 sells in the US, for instance, at the espresso gallery for $775

If the B2 is similar, please review it. The buzz on alt.coffee is that it may be very inconvenient to steam with it, since the large boiler would make the changeover from water to steam take a long time.

Now I've done a short review  -especially for the part of steaming / managing the temp. with the the big boiler.

Hope Coffeegeek brings it fast into the list "consumer reviews" -

Hope that helps!

Stefan

PS:
Just to say this: Yes, its similiar to the Boticelli I (see attached picture of the B2) - which is in fact advanced model - with a gauge and a hot water-wand at a  approx. 20% higher price... technic seems to be the same...
