I just purchased a new (used) Krups espresso machine at a yard sale for $5. Im new to the game and would like to identify what the model of this machine is. I've attached a picture to help with identification. It makes great brew as far as I know. I just learned that the picture I tried to upload yesterday was too large. Thanks for the help! -Neal

In lieu of the picture, could you at least try to describe it? Some older Krups machines are great pieces of equipment for the money. I owned Krups CremaPro 3000, and it was a one heck of a home machine for $250.

The machine has a rounded top with a plastic front and steel sides. There is a switch on the top front which chooses between steam or brew cycles. There are two lights above the switch to denote when the heat/boiler are ready for either brew or steam (I think, although the steam light never goes off). It's a pretty basic machine but it seems to work great. Thanks, Neal

If you'd like a copy I just scanned my copy of the instructions for the 964. Use the e-mail link to e-mail me your address and I'll send you a copy. It's a .pdf file that's almost 10 Meg.
