Please help!

I have an almost unused Faema E61 Legend single group on hand - need opinions on this machine for home use. I had more or less settled for an Izzo Duetto when this turned up.

Too big - YES. But can you imagine a cleaner machine the Faema? I feel an immediate urge coming on....

Does anyone have any experience with this machine?

By "bad ass machine" do you mean "awesome" or "crap"? The machine is a couple of years old and looks in as-new condition.

Faema Legend is a pure sex for e61 lovers, it doesn't get any better - if I were you I'd treasure it for many years to come, it will always represent a classic Faema machine, no matter how far the coffe machine development advances in the future.

Yup, the recent Legend and Jubilee models are a brand new re-make (2-3 years ago) of the original e61 Faema from the early 60-es, of which there are only few that can be found in good working order these days, rarer than hens' teeth. Paul Pratt reconditioned one of the original e61 Faemas few years back check his post on this.

You lucky, lucky guy!!! Just make sure your power connection is up to scratch, I believe these little gems require 20Amp power outlet, not sure, but its 6L boiler heating element will suck almost 4kW from your mains :-)

cheers!
