So at home we have a rancilio rocky dl and silvia Im the one who wakes up every morning acts like the barista and makes everyone coffee... were talking four cappuccinos and lattes minimum haha and some say milk drinks on the silvia are a chore :) So since im moving out and taking the Rancilio machine and grinder, my parents want a super automatic Costco has a sale on the Gaggia Titanium and i was just wondering how good, and reliable of a machine it is.. Any input is appreciated

The Titanium is a good machine. I have two of them, each of which has made 3,600 to 4,000 cups. They've worked flawlessly, minus a minor hiccup when I first bought one of them (a refurb model). The brew group is easy to remove, clean and lube. The espresso, as you'd expect, is so-so, but it's a very good cup of morning coffee, with little fuss. I'm hooked on the semi-automatic, but my wife would take me to divorce court if I got rid of the superauto.

If any of the Gaggia Titanium owners can comment of this - I'd really appreciate it:
I bought the machine in Costco to use in my office. I've had the Incanto before which started leaking and Costco return policy made it easier to return than to deal with warranty repair. Now I am pretty happy with Gaggia except for one thing - the pump seems to be much noisier then other superauto I've seen. Also when I press down on the water tank the noise level drops significantly to an expected level. Can any of the owners try this on their machine and see if the pump is quieter if you press down on the water tank?
I've called the support but they act as if it is completely normal...
Thanks in advance.
P.S.Let me know if starting a new thread is more appropriate then high-jacking this one.
