I have to replace the vacuum release valve on my Isomac Millennium.  Can anyone tell me where it is located inside of the machine and how to change it?

Also, does anyone know of a place where I can send out a Mini Mazzer hopper to get it sawed down?  Thanks.

Refer to the parts diagram here.

The valve is mounted on a manifold (diagram item #61) that comes up from the top of the boiler. The manifold holds the pressurstat (item #63) and the vacuum release valve (item #62).

**Note** - The manifold in the diagram may be slightly different than yours. My Tea has a manifold that has the pressurestat mounted vertically, not horizontally as indicated in this diagram. In addition, note that the vacuum release valve that Chris Coffee sells does not look the same as the one on your boiler. The one on the boiler is nickel or chromed and is smaller physically than the (improved) brass one that Chris sells.

As to the Mini modification, I'm not sure anyone does that commercially, most of us have done it ourselves. You might try these search results

Good luck.

Here's some detailed instructions that I wrote up.  The result is shown below.  Someone had asked a similar question awhile back and another member suggested checking with a glass / plexiglass cutting shop.  It'd be a five minute job for them.
