There was one in "Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" that I kept trying to see what brand it was. It was a stainless steel HX-type, which all look pretty similar.

Hi,
Anybody seen the custom espresso machine on the green hornet? I was impressed by the coolness of it, except for the tamper which was built in into the machine. They could have made it as some sort of autotamp with a lever.
Anyways, anybody know what machine those parts they used belong to? I remember seeing some sort of gas contraption turning on before the espresso was made the first time in the movie, which might have just been something misleading.
This is my first post in this forum, so I don't know if resuscitating a thread that is almost 3 years old is a bad thing. Let me know if it is.
I just saw the movie. I give the movie a wobbling one thumbs up just because of the action and special effects; however the espresso machine gets a definite 2 thumbs up! Wow, talk about wicked. Youtube of it below:

Just noticed this one watching Day of the Triffids. The setting is a small town in Spain. Unfortunately he doesn't use it. He makes coffee with a stove-top pot.

I saw the Green Hornet last weekend, and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience (we got motion action D-Box seats at the fancy threater in town). Not Oscar material but loads of fun for an old fan like me....

I know someone posted about the machine in Joey & Chandler's Apt. but I don't believe they mentioned the one in Central Perk. Can't even begin to guess what machine it is. If this is a repost please delete, but just want to say that this was an enjoyable thread to read through.

Actually found one in a video game, in Call to Duty Modern Warfare 2 in one of the last few levels there is a two group in the kitchen of the safe house. So if the are any other CG games that play this game after a few too many doubles don't forget to look for it.
