That exact machine was my first espresso machine, and after a year i had a similar problem. I solved it by purchasing a better machine...lol. Seriously, being a noob, i couldn't figure it out either (there WAS no CG at the time) I did adapt the PF and basket toi get rid of the crema enhancer pf/basket. I couldn't find a replacement for that horrid pannerello thing on the steam wand.
have you not contacted the company? Do they still make the machine? That's what I'd do...or Google it. Good luck.

Well, I have had this machine for at least 5 years and this is the first time, besides the steamer wand, that I've had any real issues with shots. So, I guess it's been pretty reliable to this point. I did some research online and found a company on the East Coast, NJ to be exact, that has replacement parts. Not a shining example of customer service, but did get the part (per another post online from someone else who had gone through the same thing). I got the part and took the thing apart and it's like entering the Twilight Zone in there!!! I don't have the money to buy a new machine so I was trying to be frugal and do the maintenance myself. So much for that!!!! What machine are you using now? Have you had good luck with it? I sure appreciate your response, I've been on Ebay looking at other machines but don't have enough experience with other Brands to know what's worth it and what's crap. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Raylee

Ok...so here's a picture of the assembly... I have removed the basket covering the 'gasket'? I'm wondering if they've sent me the wrong part. The small gasket sitting on top is the one that they sent me. I was assuming that it fit somewhere underneath the rubber gasket sitting on top of the bell shaped assembly. I have tried to remove the large rubber piece but it's really difficult and I'm afraid of ripping or tearing it. Was I given the wrong piece?
