Can anyone tell me anything about this machine or point me in the direction of some information? I have found it for sale ($300). It will not power-up, but I am very capable of repairing it if original or similar parts are available. The current owner runs a restaurant supply, and has never had the unit running. He just wants to close out the account and I may be able to get a better deal on the machine.
If anyone does know the age or anything else about the machine including espresso making quality that information would be great.
Conti is french company and it is not all that common I find. There are a few around here because Allen brothers coffee supplied them to vendors. I know very little about them except the electronics can be propitiatory. (that is probably not an issue with yours) Yours looks older and you might be able to fix it with off the shelf parts. But unless you have access to a machine shop I would not guarantee you can fix it. I would expect you to have a hard time to find another one to use for parts and I would be shocked if you can find them new.
