I don't know your machine but I am guessing that it has a single boiler. If that is the case, then the most likely explanation for what you describe is that the grouphead is blocked up. How often do you backflush and/or descale?

Just to share the answer to the problem:
The quickmill or la messoni 0835 uses the steamwand as a lever to switch between steam and brewing.. swing the steamwand inward towards the brewhead and your coffee starts pouring.. very strange design...

If the steamwand is in the proper position while brewing coffee there is only a reason of your issue, the o-rings fitted on the small sliding shaft inside the steam valve are worn. No overpressure valve is installed on this machine.
I have a problem with my Quickmill 0835 coffee-machine and hope you guys can help.
Everything seems to be working except for the fact that when i press the button with the coffee-cup on it, the machine starts running water trough the steam wand.
I assume it has something to do with the magentic valve or the overpressure valve.. what is the best way to remove those 2 and clean them ?
a photo is inserted to show the internals, hopefully someone can point the problem.
