Hey Aaron, and thanks for the post! If i understand the single/double wall concept, I think the cheapest stock single-wall (unpressurized) machine is the Gaggia Color for ~$200.
You can use depressurized baskets in machines like the Ec155 with a touch of tinkering. Just remember, a good (usually $200+) grinder is essential in getting good shots.

thanks for the quick response, do you know anything about the EC702, I already have the capresso infinity 560 but have yet to have a reason to try it on fine settings
