I just purchased a Bialetti Moka Pot, and I made a pot of coffee with it. Followed by a purging boil with clean water, my impression to clean it, the thing is I forgot to take it off the stove and left it on for longer then I should have, 40 minutes? I am such an idiot, and really regret my absent mindedness. Now my moka pot, after 2 boils, is brown (first boil left the chamber clean, only after the second boil did it brown) around the collection chamber.
Can anyone advise me on this? Did I damage my moka pot permanently? How long would it normally take to season(brown) properly?
