Subject: Chuffed with new mypressi

So, on the advice of people on this forum, I decided to get a mypressi.  I got a deal from primo coffee where I also got a hario slim grinder for a little extra.

I love how small a footprint it has.

It is literally night and day how good that coffee is.  I am using the pressurized portafilter for the moment and experimenting with grind and tamping as I currently get better espresso from the pressurized portafilter.

I thought I could run the beans through my blade grinder and finish them off in the hario to save time, but it's actually quicker and easier to go from whole on the hario.  I'm using the 4 clicks on the wheel as recommended here.

I am resisting ordering a really good bag of beans like Redbird until I get the best out of my regular organic supermarket bought beans, then I feel I'll appreciate much more the specialist beans.

Just wanted to share, as I love it when I get a great product that does exactly what it purports to do.

Cheers.
