Is it possible to convert the a 220V machine to 110v,if it is what will cost to convert it?A friend of mine is selling his scala espresso machine with a 220v and I'm thinking of convert it to a 110v,i wanted to know what is need to be done to convert it.Thank you

Due to the way you meter works, it actually costs LESS to run the machine on 220v. UH provided you are NOT stepping up from 110, which will cost MORE due to the efficency losses in the conversion.
The BEST way to run that machine is to call in an electrician and have them pull you a 20 amp 220 v circuit. You do not need to use a converter, nor will you need to replace a lot of the internal parts... depending on how it is wired inside.
