I have been using my Saeco Aroma for some time now and I finally have it dialed in using a bottomless portafilter. I have recently had a Gaggia Espresso Color and a Starbucks Barista fall into my possession. I want to sell two of the machines so I am trying to determine which machine I should hang onto. I like the Saeco Aroma but it is small and I don’t like the panarello.  I like the 58mm portafilter with the Gaggia and it has the Gaggia latte art panarello that seems to do a decent job but don’t like the plastic body. I like the construction and the steam wand on the Starbucks Barista.  The Aroma and Barista seem to produce better crema than the Gaggia. I am leaning toward the Barista but I am hung up on the Gaggia's 58mm portafilter and larger boiler. I still have more tweaking to do but I was just wondering what the more knowledgeable people of CoffeGeek thought.

Sell them all and put that towards one that will make you happy a long time.

Oh that's a good idea. You already have a Preciso, selling all three might get you a Silvia!

None of them ticked all the boxes for him.  So, I suggest he get one that will.  All of those named are ones people upgrade from pretty fast for the most part.

Correct, none of them do everything I am lookiing for in a machine but they are affordable.  My goal is to eventually sell off all the machines and buy a Silvia or a Crossland.  I presently have the Saeco’s listed on eBay so hopefully they will sell soon. Once I acquire the Silvia or the Crossland I will sell the Gaggia.  I can’t go a day without my double shots.

What is an OP?
