Ok I have resigned myself to having a machine with a plastic reservoir, but doe we have any that is BPA free. I've had a malignancy and am a little paranoid. think I am entitled to a little weirdness after the crap i went through.
anyway I found a Gaggia Baby Dose locally for 380 us dollars. Promptly bought it home. Have not opened it yet but am not able to find proper specs for it anywhere. What is the boiler made of ? is there any hotwater touching plastic ?
my main concenrs for now, I am sure more knowledgeable queries will come with time. I want the machine to be a good one even when I do get to those queries.
So what do you think ? Bad idea ? return it ? What else can I buy- considering that its the max I can spend.... How well will it accomodate my love of espresso ? I don't intend to beomce a total coffee geek. good taste is expensive- but otoh I dont want to drink the ditchwater I've been spending my $** either Thanks
