thanks for the reply. I was beginning to think that no-one knows anything about them. I need to make espresso for just one person... but 3 oz still seems very small...how about the othee baby gaggias ?

The basic Gaggia boiler, heater, brewhead and PF are pretty standard and bulletproof with a little care. You are buying more electronics. I would worry more about the electronics, dosing and preinfusion than the long proven basics. I do not know that specific model other than what I read.
