The new Breville dual boiler machine is available at Amazon for $1080, the lowest price I could find. It was this low for a few days in mid-Feb, and again for a few days Mar 9-12th. Given the nature of Amazon's pricing fluctuations, if you want this price I'd jump on it.

This deal is active again. The price came down on the 25th of April, and will likely go back up in a few days. The last price reduction was a little over a month ago and lasted a few days. Jump on it if you want this price.

I just price matched Amazon at sur la table( they will price match internet vendors) I like a local store for service if needed so I did not mind paying the sales tax. . I love the machine. It fits under my 16 inch cabinets just fine. I have a mazzer mini grinder I removed the plastic insert on the portafilter , swapped the spring clip that came in the portafilter with a rancilio silvia spring clip and inserted a VST 18 gram ridged basket. I fits perfectly and can be snapped out easily. I use an Espro tamp. The max bar pressure is 11.5 with a blind, it reaches about 10 bar on extraction and the espresso tastes great. The temperature consistency is amazing. In my opinion, this is a great espresso machine with features at a price that is unmatched.
