Hi Everyone,..Great to be here as part of the forum. I am dont have the knowledge level as many of the people on this forum....but i will have a go at fixing anything. I just love coffee and lots of it..
Im wondering if anyone can help me with a problem im having with my machine. I have had it for many years (approx 5 years) and have never had an issue with it but suddenly i am having a problem.
There are 2 switches on the machine...one with an arrow on it anf the other the power switch. The one with the arrow on it flickers when i frist turn the machine on (Top switch).Once the machine gets hot the switch stops flickering.although lately it has also been flickering when fully hot. The flickering started about 5 months ago and it has been getting worse.....when it started it took approx 8 mins to warm up and not it takes about 40mins.
Has anyone had this issue before, and how did they fix it.

Hi everyone,
I have managed to fix my coffee machine....Wooohooo,.....I cannot live without my machine.
For those of you who have the same machine and have had a similar issue...Here is what my problem was....Hope it helps others.
The Blue switch that was flickering was the issue. It was an easy fix by taking the switch out and leavering the blue button out. In the switch itself there are 2 springs and 2 contacts.Very simple type of switch wich was my saviour really. There was build up on the contacts that was causing the switch contacts to ark, therefore making the machine flicker on and off. I scraped the black stuff off and put the switch back together and now its working as good as new.
