Sadly I was (as every day I do) preparing me a double espresso as a base for a nice capuccino. The problem came when I was trying to steam milk, I start hearing a very annoying noise coming from the milk, like a high pitch scream, and the foam never came through, I ended up with 250ml of boiled water, zero foam.
A few hours later I did another attempt, I filled the tank, purge the steam wand a few seconds and again, the same results. Hot milk, no foam.
I wonder if I need to take my Napolitana to a repair service or if could be something else, when I open the steam valve with no milk I see steam but also hot water coming out of it... So, I hope I can get some advice here!

This happens to me on occasion. It usually helps if I let the machine recover for a while as its steaming capacity is limited. If I am in a funk steaming the milk I also go out and buy a new bottle which helps.
